 Tony D's came highly recommended from the legendary pizza aficionado Pete Geneovese of NJ.com. His recommendations have never steered me wrong and Tony D's is another example of that. Tony D's is a hidden gem hole in the wall. The popular pick is the drunken grandma pie and I can see why. It's greasy, cheesy, and delicious. The crunchy, crisp crust has a great structure and the juicy tomatoes combine with the delicious vodka sauce to create an explosion of flavor. It's no wonder how this spot consistently makes the NJ top-ten pizzerias.

I really enjoyed the pizza from Forte. The two slices I tried were the penne vodka and the plain. The penne vodka slice had a crispy base with a vodka sauce that was on the mild side. The slice had excellent cheese and a fluffy, bready crust. The plain slice featured a charred crust with a crispy, thin base. The sauce had excellent flavor and the greasy cheese was also delicious. I would happily stop in again!

Panatieri's is a small, New Jersey chain that consistently put out good pizza. I've been to several other locations and have always enjoyed their food. The pizza I tried from this spot was the Margherita and the plain. The Margherita is quite good and features a crisp base and fluffy crust. The sauce was a tad plain, but it didn't take much away from the slice. The plain slice was good as well and had good ratios of sauce to cheese. The slice was a bit greasy, but that didn't bother me much. Overall, Panatieri's is a good option if you're hungry for a quick bite.
Photos from the visit were lost due to data corruption. Sorry! I'm a big fan of Joe's Pizza. I've had their pizza on a few occasions and have never been disappointed. The staff is very friendly and the service is always quick. The plain pizza and the penne vodka pizza are two of my favorites. The penne vodka pizza is fully loaded with excellent vodka sauce, a crisp base, and crunchy-crisp crust. The plain is fantastic and features a salty, buttery cheese and an amazing sauce. Joe's is definitely one of my go-to's in the Flemington area.
 Bricco came highly-recommended from NJ Pizza Hunting Legend Pete Genovese of NJ.com. I decided to go with the classic margherita. It featured an ultra-thin, crispy base with an airy, charred crust. The crust had a delicious smokey flavor that I imagine comes from the coal-fired oven. The cheese is excellent and the sauce was sweet, fresh, and delicious. Bricco puts out truly remarkable pizzas and I'm absolutely going to return if I'm in the area in the future.

Despite the hole-in-the-wall exterior, Jimmy's has a familiar, old-school interior. The staff was friendly and the service was very quick. I went with two plain slices and they were fantastic! The slices had an excellent sauce and a great fluffy crust. The cheese was deliciously salty and buttery and the base was perfectly crisp. I'm definitely a fan and will happily return!

It was reassuring seeing the staff wearing masks and adhering to social distancing. The staff was very friendly and service was quick. I went with a plain slice and a pasta slice. The past slice had a nice, crisp base and a fluffy crust. The slice itself was greasy and a bit plain, to be honest. It might have benefitted from more sauce. The plain slice rocked a nice fluffy crust with good cheese and sauce. Overall, I did enjoy the pizza and would happily return.

Everything behind the counter looked delicious and because I was hungry, I went with a plain slice, a pasta slice, and a vodka sauce slice. The pasta slice was decent. It had good structure and a very crisp base that allowed sturdy support of the great stacking of pasta. The plain slice featured the same crisp base with an excellent sauce and cheese. The crust was fluffy and tasty. The vodka sauce slice was a major winner for me. The cheesy, creamy flavorful sauce rocked my world. I also appreciated the fresh basil. I would happily return to Aljon's; they make some good pizza.
