 LaScala's Pronto has a very modern design. The interior is clean and there is plenty of seating. The booths and tables are very nice and I like the setup. Unfortunately, the pizza is unremarkable. The plain slice was thin and crisp, but also very dry, with only your average cheese and sauce. The white was oily and cheesy with decent spices, but still just your average slice.

There is plenty of parking and the seating area inside is quite nice. You can definitely fit larger groups of people here and I imagine dining in would be quite nice based on the lovely seating area and decor.
I decided to go with a plain slice and a square slice. The square was the better of the two and featured a thin, crispy base with good cheese and an excellent, spicy, garlicky tomato sauce. I wish there were more on the slice! The plain slice is decent, but was a bit soft in some areas and didn't have as great a structure as the square slice. There was lots of extra flour on the bottom and it could have benefitted from more sauce. The fluffy, bready crust was good though! |
