I'm glad that I finally made the trip. The old-school dining room brought a pleasant atmosphere and the waitress was super friendly and accommodating. Her attitude really made my experience a positive one. I went with just the classic 14" plain bar pie. The pizza is very greasy, but also very delicious. The cheese is buttery, salty goodness and the sauce is thin in a good way, but also light and sweet. The crust is crispy, thin, and light. It's easy to eat a ton of this pizza. The slices are also perfectly foldable. I also want to shout out the awesome music selection. The classic rock had me jamming out while waiting for my dinner. I can't say enough about this spot. I would happily return again.

The Flemington Chimney Rock Inn has the same great vibe as the original location. The staff was very friendly and attentive. My vegan fiancee loves that they have a vegan menu and for the gluten-free people, they have a gluten-free menu as well!
We ordered the vegan chili pizza and the pretizza as our main course. The pretizza is one of my personal guilty pleasures. It's salty and delicious with great sauce and cheese. The queso dip is TREMENDOUS and adds an additional cheesy element you didn't know pizza could benefit further from. The vegan chili pizza had really good flavor! It wasn't overly spicy and the crust tasted fantastic and crisp. It really is the best of both worlds. I can definitely recommend this spot to you. They also have frequent specials, so it might benefit you to hop on their email list. La Terrazza is a cozy pizzeria located in a quiet shopping mall along Rt. 33. The interior is very clean and well kept and the staff is super friendly. I ordered three slices: a plain, a marinara, and a Margherita. All of the slices were great! The marinara slice had a rich, tasty sauce with delicious fresh garlic and a nice, crunchy crust. The bottom of the slice was perfectly golden brown. The plain slice featured a slightly sweeter sauce, an excellent thin crust, with a pleasant, salty cheese. The plain also had a crispy, brown base. The Margherita slice had a gooey, milky mozzarella with the same fresh and delightful sauce as the marinara slice. I was very pleased with the pizza at La Terrazza and can definitely recommend it to you.

Parking can be a bit tough, but I found a spot on the street not too far away. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive. I decided to start with a cocktail, so I opted for the classic Sidecar. It was excellently prepared.
For pizza, I had a split Margherita/plain pie. Both the plain and Margherita slices had a crisp bottom with a fluffy crust and good, exterior char. The sauce is TREMENDOUS!! Extremely tasty. The plain had a fresh milky cheese while the Margherita had a slightly saltier cheese that balanced really well with the fresh basil. Both sides were packed with flavor, so I'm convinced you really can't go wrong with either. I can't recommend John's enough and I anxiously await the next opportunity to eat there! |
