Conte's serves up a great pie and is one of my go-to's in the Princeton area. The pizza has a crisp, cracker-thin crust. The cheese is greasy and delicious. This is the kind of pizza you pair with a few drinks with friends. I also loved the rich, thick tomato sauce. It was flavor-packed and balanced well with the oily, saltiness of the cheese.
The staff was friendly, the service was quick, and they have plenty of seating. The long, wide bar table can fit a bunch of people in the event that table space is all filled up. Overall, I'm definitely a fan of Conte's.

Date: 10/23/2021 Location: Somerset, NJ Pizza ordered: Plain and Tomato slices Website: stevespizzasomerset.com/ I recently stopped by and tried both the cheese pizza and the tomato slice, and I have to say, they did not disappoint.
The cheese pizza had a fluffy crust that was just the right thickness, not too thin and not too thick. The sauce was decent, not too sweet or tangy, and the cheese was definitely the star of the show. It was gooey and delicious, with just the right amount on top. Overall, it was a solid cheese pizza that hit the spot. The tomato slice was also a standout. The base was thin and crispy, and the juicy, fresh tomatoes added a great flavor profile. It was the perfect choice for a lighter option that still satisfied my pizza cravings. While the atmosphere at Steve's Pizza is nothing fancy, the pizza more than makes up for it. The staff were friendly and the service was quick. If you're looking for a classic pizza joint that serves up tasty, no-nonsense pizza, Steve's Pizza is definitely worth a visit. |
