The slice was perfect! It had a superb, slightly sweet, sauce. The base was crispy and the crust was bready and flavorful. It had the ideal amount of cheese. The slice was also very foldable and had great structure. There's just something magical about enjoying a perfect slice of pizza and Marinelli's made it happen.

Their pizza is some of the best I've had in Middlesex County. I stopped in for a quick bite to eat in the middle of my workday and I was impressed by the selection of different specialty slices available at the counter. Everything looked so good, it was difficult to settle on which slices to try. I decided to go with the standard plain slice, a Margherita slice, and a slice with vodka sauce.
The plain slice had a perfectly thin, crispy base with a bready, delicious crust. The sauce was fresh and flavorful. The cheese was tasty and pleasantly browned. The Margherita slice was truly amazing. It featured a light, inviting sauce, fresh basil, and excellent, gooey mozzarella cheese. The slice also had a great crunch! The sauce on the vodka slice is TO DIE FOR. Marvelously creamy, cheesy goodness. I could eat an entire pie of this myself. If you've never been to Brooklyn Boys, you need to pay them a visit.  Surf City Pizza is you're typical Jersey Shore Pizza Joint. It has a small indoor dining area, but let's be honest, you're probably picking up, getting delivery, or just grabbing a slice to go anyway. The standard plain slice features a fluffy dough with a crisp base and good structure. The cheese is good, the sauce is slightly bitter with mild acidity. Overall, nothing to complain about.
