 Nicola's is your typical neighborhood spot. The owner is a super nice guy and is very friendly. The pizza is very cheesy. The crust is pleasantly fluffy. The base is crispy and thin with fantastic structure. The sauce is excellent as well. Overall, Nicola's puts out a great standard slice that won't disappoint.

They offer tons of sandwiches, burgers, salads, gyros, fried foods, and pizza. The staff was very friendly during my visit. I tried the plain slice and a slice of peppers and onions. The slices were okay. Both had a tremendous crispy, crunchy base. The cheese is decent but the sauce is bland and so is the crust. The crust is nice and fluffy at least. The peppers and onions are good. During my visit, the temperature was uncomfortably warm inside. Not sure if it's usually like that, but it was very noticeable.

This photo is from the Dominick's Pizza Shoppe website. Dominick's Pizza is a small spot right off of the Somerville circle. They have a great counter selection and the staff is very welcoming. The plain slice is fairly generic. The cheese is subpar and the crust tastes like burnt sesame seeds. The baked ziti slice was good. The sauce is decent but was a tad cold. Overall, Dominick's was unimpressive. Perhaps it was an unlucky time to come by.

They are known for their thin crust pizza which has a very light, soft base and crust. This makes it easy to eat plenty of slices without filling up too quickly. The pizza is decent. On some occasions, they have been light on the sauce and the crust can be a bit plain. The cheese is a nice, salty, greasy variety that makes up a bit for the lacking crust.

Italian Touch is your standard, friendly Italian establishment. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. There is a huge selection of slices behind the counter and all of them look delicious. The plain pizza is okay. The sauce is a bit sweet. The Margherita slice is a tad plain as well. That being said, the specialty slices are incredible. The mac and cheese slice is perfectly cheesy and delicious. The grandpa slice is thick with delicious sauce. Absolute perfection. The tortellini slice is another winner with perfectly cheesy tortellini and a delicious white cheese base. While the plain and Margherita were a tad underwhelming, the rest of the specialty slices were the bomb.
