This was the perfect slice joint I needed for a quick lunch. The service was quick and the slices were fresh! I grabbed two plain slices and I have to say that they hit the spot. They featured a thin, crispy base that provided the perfect structure for a fantastic foldable slice. In addition to the perfect crunch, the slices had excellent cheese with subtle notes of garlic. The sauce was superb and at the perfect sauce-to-cheese ratio. It's a bit small inside for seating, but the place has a nice charm to it.

I finally got a chance to try Sciortino's Harbor Lights which has been on my must-try list for ages. I was really blown away by how delicious the pizza is. The first thing that struck me was the delicious sweetness of the sauce. This is no accident; Sciortino's uses Stanislaus Tomatoes which are some of the highest quality tomatoes for pizza sauce grown in the USA. The pizza also featured a perfectly charred, thin crust and a delicate dusting of parmesan that really sealed the deal for me. I really loved Sciortino's Harbor Lights and would absolutely recommend them to anyone in search of a delicious, thin-crust pie.

Their pizza is some of the best I've had in Middlesex County. I stopped in for a quick bite to eat in the middle of my workday and I was impressed by the selection of different specialty slices available at the counter. Everything looked so good, it was difficult to settle on which slices to try. I decided to go with the standard plain slice, a Margherita slice, and a slice with vodka sauce.
The plain slice had a perfectly thin, crispy base with a bready, delicious crust. The sauce was fresh and flavorful. The cheese was tasty and pleasantly browned. The Margherita slice was truly amazing. It featured a light, inviting sauce, fresh basil, and excellent, gooey mozzarella cheese. The slice also had a great crunch! The sauce on the vodka slice is TO DIE FOR. Marvelously creamy, cheesy goodness. I could eat an entire pie of this myself. If you've never been to Brooklyn Boys, you need to pay them a visit. Oakwood has a nice, old-school pizzeria vibe (complete with booths and a wood countertop). The staff was very friendly and service was quick. I decided to grab a plain slice and a peppers & onions slice. The plain had a perfectly thin, crispy base with excellent cheese and a delicious sauce. The crust was a combination of crunchy, bready, and flavorful. The peppers and onions slice, a classic in its own right, was beautifully executed. Fresh, tasty veggies with a solid structure (and perfectly foldable!). Oakwood makes some good pizza, I hope to return to try some of their vegan pizza!

The restaurant gives me the old-school, family owned vibe that I really love in a neighborhood pizzeria. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. I really enjoyed the pizza! I decided to go with a slice of plain and a slice with vodka sauce. The plain slice was good. It had a light, thin base which was soft rather than crispy. The crust had a pleasant, bakery bread flavor. The sauce and cheese were both quite good and applied with a good ratio. The vodka slice was excellent. It featured a delicious, creamy, cheesy sauce with fresh mozzarella and delicious, fresh basil. I would definitely return for more pizza!

I stopped into Franco's on the way home from the Jersey Shore. I picked this spot in particular because they are open until 11:00pm which is later than most of the other pizzerias and it was already close to 9:30pm. The staff was very friendly and inviting. Service was quick and the prices were decent.
I went with two plain slices and a pasta slice. The pasta slice was alright. It wasn't really anything special. The plain slices were on point though. They had good sauce and good cheese. The base was thin and crispy. The crust was just the right amount of crispy with a good bready flavor. Veganized has moved locations (a few hundred feet down the street) and added to their wonderful menu. I think this deserves an update. My original comments still stand. The restaurant is very unique. The new upstairs dining area is reminiscent of a historic hotel. There's also the option to eat outside on the balcony. Strange, obscure art still adorns the walls. The staff continues to be polite, friendly, and provides quick service. The presentation is still on-point. All of the food I've tried thus far has been nothing short of amazing. I continue to recommend the Mac and Cheese, the falafel wrap, the Caesar salad, and the triple cooked fries. A new addition to their menu and something that will likely become my usual order is their delicious Margherita pizza. The pizza has a perfect, woody char on the base and crust that impart a subtle smoky flavor. The sauce is beyond incredible. The cheese, which is created from cashews, is fluffy, creamy, and delicious. The pesto also provides additional flavors to the pie. This is perhaps the best vegan pizza I've ever experienced.
After you've enjoyed your main course, you simply must order one of their desserts. My favorite is the chocolate peanut butter torte, but they're all great picks. Whether you're following a plant-based/vegan diet or you're just looking for some excellent food: Veganized is a must-try. It was reassuring seeing the staff wearing masks and adhering to social distancing. The staff was very friendly and service was quick. I went with a plain slice and a pasta slice. The past slice had a nice, crisp base and a fluffy crust. The slice itself was greasy and a bit plain, to be honest. It might have benefitted from more sauce. The plain slice rocked a nice fluffy crust with good cheese and sauce. Overall, I did enjoy the pizza and would happily return.

Everything behind the counter looked delicious and because I was hungry, I went with a plain slice, a pasta slice, and a vodka sauce slice. The pasta slice was decent. It had good structure and a very crisp base that allowed sturdy support of the great stacking of pasta. The plain slice featured the same crisp base with an excellent sauce and cheese. The crust was fluffy and tasty. The vodka sauce slice was a major winner for me. The cheesy, creamy flavorful sauce rocked my world. I also appreciated the fresh basil. I would happily return to Aljon's; they make some good pizza.

I can happily report Mancini lived up to the hype. The staff was very friendly and the service was quick! For pizza, I went with plain and Margherita. The plain was delicious and featured a thin, crispy base and a fluffy, flavorful crust. The sauce and cheese were both incredible. The Margherita slice was exceptional. The sauce is delicious, juicy, and rich. The beautiful, milky cheese has some awesome stretch. I'm definitely returning whenever I'm in the area.
