Italian Touch is your standard, friendly Italian establishment. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. There is a huge selection of slices behind the counter and all of them look delicious. The plain pizza is okay. The sauce is a bit sweet. The Margherita slice is a tad plain as well. That being said, the specialty slices are incredible. The mac and cheese slice is perfectly cheesy and delicious. The grandpa slice is thick with delicious sauce. Absolute perfection. The tortellini slice is another winner with perfectly cheesy tortellini and a delicious white cheese base. While the plain and Margherita were a tad underwhelming, the rest of the specialty slices were the bomb.

I stopped in based on a recommendation from the legendary Pete Genovese in his 20 best new pizzerias article from October 2019. Pete has consistently blown it out of the park with recommendations and this is another win!

I tried the plain pizza and the "Jump in the Fire - Version I" The plain pizza had a fantastic thin and crispy base with a thin, crunchy, charred crust. Charring on the crust adds an awesome smoky flavor to the pizza! The sauce and cheese are both amazing and the cheese is pleasantly crisp with a slight browning. The "Jump in the Fire" - Version I features pepperoncini, jalapenos, onions, and ghost pepper. The pizza had the same crispy features, awesome cheese, and sauce as the plain, but with a long, dry, fiery heat. I was sweating with a runny nose while eating it, but I just couldn't stop. It tasted too awesome.

This place is one of my new favorites and I'm excited for my wife to sample the Vegan pizza on my next stop!

I stopped in for some lunch between training sessions at the neighboring ATA Parlin. The staff was friendly and service was pretty quick despite the surge of customers. The plain pizza features good cheese and sauce with a crispy base. Though there are some spots that are softer and don't hold up well / fold when trying to eat. The vodka pizza was pretty good! The sauce was tasty and the cheese slices, though they did slide a bit, tasted good. Primo's has decent pizza overall and I would happily eat here again.

Ferraro's Pizzeria & Pub offers a great quality bar pie. I stopped in during a lunch break, so I didn't get to enjoy the pub part of this establishment, but I hope to be able to in the future. Luckily, I did get to experience the pizza. My choices were the square (Brooklyn?) and the plain slice.
The plain slice is solid overall. It features a light, thin base with a crackery-crisp crust that is very typical of the bar-pie style of pizza. The cheese and sauce tasted great too! The square had the same great sauce and cheese with a slightly softer base. The crust was the same excellent cracker-crisp as the plain. Ferraro's Pizzeria & Pub has a friendly staff, a cool, cozy interior, and most important: good pizza.

Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza is an awesome spot. They have a great modern look with both indoor and outdoor seating separated by a large sliding glass door. The bar and tables are clean and elegant and plenty of the beer on tap is brewed specifically for the company!
My friends and I really enjoyed the pizza. The classic plain pizza is high-quality. It features great sauce and a soft, chewy crust that has very good flavor. The white pizza is also deliciously cheesy and cooked to perfection. I would definitely eat here again.

Tomato Pies is a friendly, little pizzeria located in a strip mall. There is ample parking and plenty of seating both inside and out (though it can certainly be busy around the lunch rush and finding a seat can be a challenge). The staff was very friendly and there was a variety of different slices available at the front counter. I went with a plain, a Margherita square and a Sicilian.
The plain slice could benefit from a crispier bottom, but the sauce is FANTASTIC. The plain slice also has a light, fluffy crust. The Margherita slice has some cheese slide going on, though the base is much crispier and the slice still has the delicious sauce, so it's good overall. The Sicilian could have been a bit crispier, but it's decent. Good sauce, fluffy interior. Overall Tomato Pies is a decent spot and I would give it the seal of approval.

La Capannina is located in a small strip mall along the busy Applegarth Road. There is a decent amount of parking and there is a very nicely decorated dining room with plenty of seating. There is a beautiful mosaic painting that adorns the wall and there is a separate seating area if you are in a rush and just want to grab some slices. They also have quite a variety of pizza/toppings to choose from at the counter (a definite plus).

I ordered a slice of plain, a pasta slice, and a grandma slice.
The plain wasn't anything mind-blowing. Just your average slice with a lot of cheese and a good, fluffy crust. The pasta slice was also average. The vodka sauce tasted decent and the slice was very filling. The grandma pizza is where this spot truly shines. The slice features a nice, crunchy base with flavorful, chunky tomato sauce. The mozzarella is fresh and accompanied by some sprinkled parmesan. Overall this isn't a bad spot and if you are a fan of grandma pizza... you won't be disappointed.

Osteria is a small, intimate Italian restaurant in Kingswood very close to the canal. There is a decent amount of parking both on the street and behind the restaurant. Now I actually haven't even been inside the restaurant because they have a beautiful and elegant outdoor seating area behind the restaurant where my girlfriend and I were seated and served. The service was excellent and the waitresses were very attentive. The restaurant is BYOB but also has a selection of Maine Root sodas that are delicious.

We decided to order an appetizer of bruschetta (the sundried tomato pesto) which is some of the best I've ever had. The tomato pesto spread was truly delicious. The Margherita pizza was also very tasty. The sauce is rich in flavor and I really liked the soft and tasty crust. There was quite a bit of basil used, but that was no problem in my opinion, as I thought it only added to the flavor. To top off the meal, we decided to try the cannolo rollatini. It fell apart easily but really satisfied my sweet tooth. I will definitely be taking my girlfriend out to this restaurant again in the coming months. Great food and a lovely atmosphere.

Stelton Pizza in a strip mall along a fairly busy road. There is plenty of parking and, once inside, plenty of seating. I don't recall there being many options behind the glass at the counter as far as getting slices to-go was concerned, but there was enough to make a selection. The staff was friendly and Halloween decorations were impressive and helped add to the atmosphere.

The plain slice was flavorful with a good amount of sauce and a good amount of toasting of the cheese. The crust and base were crispy, though the crust did have a bit of excess flour that can be seen in my picture. The pasta slice was pretty good. I appreciated having the cheese over the pasta and I found that it helped contain the slice better than some others. I would definitely eat here again given the opportunity.

Douglas Pizza and Grill is located directly beneath the Rockoff Hall complex on George Street. There is not much as far as street-front parking is concerned, but there are meter spots further down the street and parking for Rockoff around the side of the building. The establishment has a moderately large seating area and a good variety of beverages to choose from. There is also a good selection of different toppings to choose from at the counter.

My apologies for not taking a picture before partially devouring the plain slice. I almost forgot to grab a picture entirely. Anyway, the plain slice had a nice, crispy base with good quality cheese and sauce. The crust was fluffy and delicious. The cheese steak slice had just the right amount of steak. I was thankful they kept the tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese because it really helped shape the flavor nicely. The slices were both very consistent with both their cheese to tomato sauce ratio, the crispiness of their base, and fluffiness of their crust. I am very happy with the quality and consistency of these slices. Well done, Douglas Pizza.
