 When I visited PizzAroma, I ended up waiting an excessively long time for a simple plain pizza. Normally I wouldn't even comment on it, because I understand businesses can be short-staffed or slammed with delivery orders or attending to other customers. In this case, there were plenty of staff and only one other person dining in. In the future, I'll call ahead, even if I plan on dining in.
The pizza featured a thin, crisp base and light, airy, crust. I enjoyed the greasy, garlicky cheese. The tomato sauce was a bit generic and on the acidic side, but overall the pizza was pretty good. Many of their close tables and bar seating have plastic screens between them to prevent particle spread and all the staff wears masks. The staff is very friendly and polite, plus the service is very quick! The beers on tap are excellent and I love the salsa and tortilla chips. My main dish was the grilled pizza. The pizza is a cracker thin bar pie that features a thin, light sauce and delicious cheese. The crust and base are both crispy and very sturdy. There isn't any sag in the slices -a must have for a good bar pie. Overall I was very impressed with the service, drinks, and food. I would happily return.
